Dear ShunShun students and parents,
亲爱的顺家庭的同学和家长们，
I am an educational counselor who worked in admissions at several highly selective schools—MIT, Andover, and Yale—for over ten years. As an admissions officer, I knew there was a great deal of misinformation on the admissions process, making it difficult for families to determine what is true. So, I left the admissions office and made it my mission to demystify the admissions process for as many families as possible.
我是Marisa，我在美国几所最顶尖的、竞争非常激烈的学校——麻省理工学院、菲利普斯安多佛中学和耶鲁大学做了十几年的招生官。期间我在耶鲁大学做招生评审官，在麻省理工学院和安多佛中学做招生办副主任，我每年都要审核上千个学生的申请，最终决定哪些学生可以被录取，哪些学生可能更适合其他学校。这些年下来，我知道在招生办以外，流传着很多关于招生审核的信息都是错误的，这让很多学生走了很多弯路，也让很多家庭很难清楚地了解，到底什么才是对孩子真正有帮助的。因此，我离开了招生办公室，致力于帮助更多的家庭和学生揭开名校招生审核的神秘面纱。
Now, I travel all throughout the world sharing my knowledge and expertise on the admissions process. I am extraordinarily excited to be visiting China and ShunShun in August so I can speak with families about the U.S college admissions process. Even though I do not currently work in an admissions office, I continue to work with admissions officers and college counselors. Thus, families have confidence that I provide is the most accurate and up-to-date information on the college process.
现在，我来到世界各地的学生和家庭身边，分享我这些年专业的招生工作知识和经验。虽然我现在不在招生办公室工作了，但是我和招生办的工作人员、大学的辅导员们还维持着紧密的合作关系。所以，请相信，我提供的都是关于大学招生过程的最准确、最及时的信息。
