麻省理工科学研究营全称为麻省理工科学研究营清华项目 RSI-Tsinghua，是一个为杰出中国高中生设计的独特暑期科研项目（内容涉及科学、技术、工程和数学领域,简称STEM）。
参加麻省理工科学研究营的学生将参加一周RSI麻省理工学院著名校友和清华大学教授执教的大学难度课程，然后由清华大学的顶尖学科导师进行一对一指导，进行为期四周半的最前沿和个性化的STEM课题研究并完成课题论文。
学生将熟练掌握科学研究中的每一个步骤，从文献检索到原创实验的课题设计、具体操作和数据分析。这六周将成为学生一生当中最为忙碌和充实的六周。

语言要求：强烈建议提交托福成绩
申请时间：2017 年 1 月 19 日前
申请要求：
1. Students should arrange for at least two ( 2 ) but no more than three ( 3 ) recommendations from
STEM teachers, instructors, math or science coaches, academic directors, research supervisors,
or other educators familiar with the applicant and the applicant's scholastic or research record.
a. At least one recommender, but preferably two, should be a STEM teacher ( s ) from the
applicant's current secondary school. Ideally candidates should have recommendations
from one math teacher and one science teacher.
b. Applicants who have participated in a substantial research project are strongly
encouraged to request a recommendation from the relevant research supervisor. This
should be someone who is familiar with your day to day research work on the project.
2. Students should designate one ( 1 ) school administrator or other official who will upload a PDF
copy of: all secondary-school transcript ( s ) , and any college-level transcripts or online course
certifications, for courses taken after primary school through Fall 2016.
a. Your designated school administrator should only upload PDF copies of your transcripts.
They should not submit a recommendation on your behalf.
3. If you are having any technical issues with Slideroom ( i.e. my teacher didn ’ t receive their email
request ) please contact Slideroom at support@slideroom.com. If you have questions about
sections within the application, please read the FAQ document and instructions.
